Cooperation between Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association and National Institute of Vocational Training and Education, Algeria, Continues to Strengthen–Preparatory Work for the Joint Technical Committee Launched

To further implement the terms of the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in National Institute of Vocational Training and Education, Algeria (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Vocational Education) and the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association (hereinafter referred to as the SNAEIA)" and promote high-quality development of China-Arab vocational education cooperation, the two sides officially launched the preparatory work for the Joint Technical Committee which marks the SNAEIA presenting  its strengths, proactive actions, and gratifying achievements in expanding international exchanges and cooperation under The Belt and Road Initiative.

December 10th., 2024, Algiers, Algeria

The Embassy of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria in China has officially sent a letter to SNAEIA, confirming the Algerian committee membership. The committee is chaired by the Director-General of the National Institute of Vocational Training and Education, Algeria, and its members include leading experts in fields such as vocational training management, information technology, educational research, etc. The Algeria side expressed the expectations to receive the Chinese membership list and to jointly promote the implementation of cooperative projects.

The preparatory work to establish the Joint Technical Committee took turns visit by Chen Lu in 2023 and 2024 in order to continually deepening cooperation and work with the National Institute of Vocational Training and Education, Algeria. Both parties held extensive meetings, reaching consensus on key areas of cooperation. These include the mutual recognition of vocational education standards, joint teacher training programs and the sharing of digital teaching resources. The newly formed committee will now transform the consensus into action by developing specific projects and implementation plans. Its initial focus will be on practical collaboration in curriculum development, the establishment of joint training bases, and the creation of cross-border talent certification systems.
