International Exchange | SNAEIA, Together with a Delegation from North Africa, has been Invited to Visit Beijing Polytechnic

On December 11th, the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association, along with delegations from the education ministries and universities of Tunisia, Morocco, and Algeria, consisting of 11 members, were invited to visit Beijing Polytechnic. The delegation was welcomed by Yao Guangye, the President of Beijing Polytechnic, among others. The meeting was chaired by Deputy President Chen Jiangfeng.

During the meeting, President Yao Guangye warmly welcomed the delegation and, after introducing the school's overview, educational characteristics, development plans, and international achievements, expressed the desire to strengthen communication, implement cooperative projects, and achieve mutual cooperation. Representatives from the education ministries and universities of the three countries introduced their respective management areas, school scale, specializations, international cooperation, and expressed their willingness to actively engage in international vocational education cooperation with Beijing Polytechnic in the future.

Secretary-General Chen Lu, speaking on behalf of the Association, stated that the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association was initiated and established through a joint proposal by experts in the field of higher education, heads of educational and cultural institutions, and representatives of several Chinese enterprises in North Africa. The Association aims to promote the connotative development of internationalization in Chinese and North African universities, enhance the level of internationalization in Chinese and North African universities, respond to new opportunities in international cooperation and exchange in education in the new era, build a regional international education cooperation platform, and actively contribute to the construction of a community with a shared future between China and Africa.

Following the meeting, the delegation visited various departments, including the School of Aeronautical Engineering、School of Economics and Management、School of Bio-engineering、School of Automotive Engineering、Employment and Entrepreneurship Service Base for International Students and Training Base for School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

Throughout the entire visit, discussions, and tours, both Chinese and foreign sides exchanged in-depth experiences in international vocational education practices. They collectively explored approaches and models for internationalizing vocational education in the context of new challenges, reached multiple cooperation intentions, and enhanced cultural understanding and friendship between each other.
