The final round of the 2026 Belt and Road Initiative and BRICS Countries Skills Development and Technological Innovation Competition North Africa International Championship will be held in Casablanca, Morocco, from April 19 to 26, 2026. The pre-competition training session for this event officially kicked off on March 4. The training period lasted three days and was designed to help participants from various countries prepare and enhance their competitive skills.
As a high-standard international skills competition, the North Africa International Tournament’s organizing committee has consistently made steady progress in all preparatory efforts to ensure that the event can be held smoothly and on time. On January 12, an explanatory meeting for the international tournament was held online, providing detailed explanations of the tournament’s rules and other core elements to participating teams from various countries. On February 9, the second meeting of the tournament’s executive committee was convened, during which participants engaged in in-depth discussions on matters related to implementation and other related aspects.

The pre-competition training session focused on training related to the upcoming Skills Challenge competitions, covering all key aspects of the event.
The training sessions were conducted entirely through an online conference platform, attracting participants from various countries who actively participated. The training content covered the technical specifications and scoring criteria for each competition project, providing systematic explanations of the functions and challenges of different competition platforms. This aimed to offer professional guidance for participants preparing for the final round.



The successful convening of this pre-competition training seminar marks the official start of the preparatory phase for the 2026 Belt and Road Initiative and BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Competition--North Africa International Event. The organization of the North Africa International Event will also serve as a major platform for talent cultivation and competition exchange in the fields of skills development and technological innovation, facilitating cooperation between China and North African countries in these areas and improving the capabilities of domestic and foreign colleges and universities to participate in high-level international competitions.
