Official Visit by Binzhou Polytechnic to Morocco and Tunisia

At the invitation of the ESTEP Group and the Arab University of Sciences (UAS) in Tunisia, Liu Jinyi, Secretary of the Party Committee of Binzhou Polytechnic, led a school delegation to visit Morocco and Tunisia from June 26 to July 3. Zhao Yuling, Deputy Secretary General of the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association, accompanied the visit. The visit was a complete success.

The delegation first visited the ESTEP Group, where they received a warm welcome from President Mokhtari Ismail and other officials. Liu Jinyi and Mokhtari Ismail attended the unveiling ceremony of the Binzhou Polytechnic - Morocco Overseas Branch, and both delivered speeches. The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Mazouz Abdellatif, Vice President of the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association.

Following the unveiling ceremony, the delegation was invited to visit the EMBASSY OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA IN THE KINGDOM OF MOROCCO, where they were warmly received by Minister Counselor Zhou Zhicheng. Zhou Zhicheng highly praised the efforts of the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association in assisting Binzhou Polytechnic in establishing an overseas branch and in promoting the "Chinese Language + Vocational Skills" cooperative project.

During their stay in Morocco, the delegation also met with representatives of Association of Chinese Enterprises in Morocco, including those from China Railway Construction International Group Morocco and Battery Morocco Project. They engaged in in-depth discussions on topics of mutual interest, such as industry-education integration and promoting the globalization of Chinese manufacturing, exploring potential cooperation opportunities.

In Tunisia, during their visit to the Arab University of Sciences (UAS), the delegation discussed various topics, including teaching models, curriculum standards, quality certification, and the construction of overseas branches. They signed a cooperation agreement to jointly build an overseas branch in Tunisia. Both parties agreed to deepen international exchanges and cooperation in multiple fields, including joint professional development, curriculum standard sharing, "Chinese Language + Vocational Skills" training, the establishment of Chinese Learning and Testing Center, student exchange and internships, and international vocational certification exams. They aim to explore new paths for international cooperation in vocational education between China and Tunisia.

In response to the Belt and Road Initiative and leveraging the platform advantages of the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association, Binzhou Polytechnic has successfully established overseas branches in Morocco and Tunisia in recent years. By adopting a "2+1" joint training model, the first batch of 19 Moroccan students has been enrolled, promoting international professional development and exchange between the two schools.
