Offical Visit by Chen Lu, Secretary-General of SNAEIA to Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia

On June 4, Chen Lu, Secretary-General of the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association, was invited to visit the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia. Vice Minister Artur Martirosyan and National Assembly member Aleksey Sandikov, among others, received Chen Lu.

During the meeting, Artur Martirosyan welcomed Chen Lu's visit and emphasized China's position as an important partner of Armenia. Artur Martirosyan pointed out that as the bilateral relationship progresses within the framework of high-level openness, more and more Armenian youth are eager to learn Chinese and understand China's long history and culture. The successful establishment of the Confucius Institute at the V. Bryusov State University is of great significance. With the support of the government of the People's Republic of China, the Armenian-Chinese Friendship School also operates in Yerevan, where a large number of Armenian students study Chinese in depth.

In the official meetings, Artur Martirosyan emphasized that by drawing on China's experience, Armenian universities will develop new educational cooperation projects and conduct innovative research on teaching methods and practices. Chen Lu made suggestions to the participants on the possibilities of jointly promoting cooperation and dialogue between universities in Armenia and Central Asia, as well as on training Armenian university personnel qualified in Chinese language teaching.

Chen Lu stated that as a platform for building international education exchange and cooperation, the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association will further play its pivotal role, integrate resource advantages, and help institutions on both sides expand new channels for international cooperation, thereby serving the development of educational cooperation between the two countries.
