Documentary about African Delegation’s Visit to China

一、Official Activities

From Sep.9 to 14, 2024, African delegation with 14 delegates, including the representatives of the competent department of vocational education from Côte d'Ivoire, Morocco and Tunisia, Presidents and Deans from some universities taken by SNAEIA visited China to attend EducationPlus2024 Wuxi International Summit and Exhibition for Applied Education and TVET and Seminar of 2024 "Chinese + Vocational Skills" Education Cooperation High-quality Development hosted by SNAEIA.

 Zhao Yuling, Deputy Secretary-General and other relevant personnel from SNAEIA took the delegation to visit two vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province according to the agenda of the SEMINAR mentioned above. The delegation successfully completed all official business during the visit while on talking about friendship and discussing about cooperation and development.

二、Exchanging and Sharing

1.Exchanging & Sharing and Seeking Common Development

On Sep.11 and Sep.13, delegation had the visit to Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College and Wuxi City College of Vocational Technology which received a warmly welcome by the leaders at both college and school, teachers and students from the above two colleges.

During the official talks, both parties held discussion, communication and exchanges about international cooperation in vocational education, even engaging in the dialogue on the possibility of the models around the cooperative project or program as 2+1 Overseas Campus, Curriculum Standard Docking, and Teachers-Students Mutual Visits and Exchanges and all parties are full of hope and confidence for the future cooperation success.

2.Witness to the Cooperation and Digital Empowerment

On the morning of Sep. 12, as special guests, all delegates attended EducationPlus2024 Wuxi International Summit & Exhibition for Applied Education and TVET and Launch Ceremony of the 2^nd Sino-North Africa International Digital Innovation Skills Competition and witnessed many new opportunities, new achievements and new blueprints of development for international cooperation in vocational education between China and Africa.

3.School-Enterprises Cooperation and Run in both Directions

On the afternoon of Sep. 12, there are ten units among the delegation won the prize of International Outstanding Partners and the title of Executive Committee of the 2nd Sino-North Africa International Digital Innovation Skills Competition at Seminar hosted by SNAEIA because of their great contributions to promote education cooperation between China and Africa.

三、Go forward hand in Hand

At Seminar，Prof. Barkawi Mohammed, Chairman of SNAEIA delivered the first speech who highly praised the significance and far-reaching impact of China-Africa educational cooperation, and represented that SNAEIA will continue to devote itself to building a bridge and platform for China-Africa education cooperation, promote mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation between the two sides in more fields and at higher levels.

Mr. Musdafa Sangahe, Director of the General Office of the Department of Vocational Training and Apprenticeship of Technical Education of Côte d'Ivoire, also expressed his gratitude and expectations to those Chinese partner colleges and universities who have participated in the cooperative program of Curriculum Standard Output of Vocational Education between China and Côte d'Ivoire and hoped that more and more high-quality educational resources and experience can be introduced from China to advance the improvement and development of the vocational education system of Côte d'Ivoire with the assistance from SNAEIA.

The delegation's Official business is highly concentrated and activities is richly. SNAEIA will continue to play the role as the bridge ties, backbones, basic platforms and friendly messengers as always in order to promote international cooperation of China-Africa education and together draw a new chapter with Chinese and foreign partners accordance to the charter of SNAEIA.
