From June 30 to July 2, coordinated by the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association (SNAEIA), Mr. Mokhtari Ismail, President of ESTEP Group, visited Binzhou Polytechnic University and conducted an exchange on China-Africa industrial cooperation.
On June 30, Mary Zhao, Deputy Secretary-General of SNAEIA, along with staff from the International Department, accompanied President Ismail to Binzhou Polytechnic University. Liu Jinyi, Party Secretary of the University, and Shen Baozhong, Deputy Party Secretary and President, and other university leaders warmly welcomed the delegation.

On behalf of the university, Liu Jinyi welcomed SNAEIA and President Ismail’s visit. During the meeting, Binzhou Polytechnic University proposed that both institutions take this visit as an opportunity to deepen all-round cooperation in areas such as joint program development, faculty and student exchanges, and education standards alignment, so as to continuously improve the teaching quality, institutional capacity and international influence of overseas campuses. President Ismail stated that ESTEP is ready to introduce teaching equipment and resources in response to the Chinese partner’s demands, support faculty in conducting practical training courses, and enhance students' professional practice capabilities and teaching outcomes. The two sides held in-depth discussions covering vocational education cooperation, industry-education integration, and talent cultivation, and reached a cooperation intent on newly proposed joint majors including new energy, intelligent manufacturing, and intelligent medical equipment technology. Mary Zhao remarked that the Sino-North African Education Innovation Association will keep leveraging its role as a collaborative platform, integrate high-quality resources from both China and Morocco, refine cooperation mechanisms, upgrade the quality and efficiency of joint projects, and serve the high-quality development of China-Morocco vocational education.

During the visit, the delegation also toured the university’s History Museum and conducted field inspections of training bases for four major discipline clusters: electromechanics, architecture, biotechnology and nursing, gaining an in-depth understanding of the university’s history, featured majors, construction achievements and practical teaching system.

On July 2, President Ismail and the delegation visited the Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics and Beijing ZhongHangZhi Technology Co., Ltd. In meetings with enterprise representatives, President Ismail conducted focused research on robotic and UAV equipment as well as their application scenarios, and learned how such devices are deployed in university curricula and practical training sessions.

This visit has further strengthened exchanges and mutual trust between the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association, Binzhou Polytechnic University and ESTEP, and laid a good foundation for deepening cooperation in China-Morocco vocational education. Moving forward, SNAEIA will continue to give full play to its strengths as an international cooperation platform and advance pragmatic China-Africa educational exchanges and partnerships.
