Delegation taken by Ms. Chen Lu, Secretary General of the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association Visit Tunisia and Morocco

The delegation Taken by Ms. Chen Lu, Secretary General of the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association, SNAEIA, had a successful visit at the invitation of Monastir University of Tunisia, The Office of Vocational Training and Employment Promotion of the Kingdom of Morocco (OFPPT) and Moroccan Federation of Private Vocational Education from December 14 to December 22.

At the Monastir University, Ms. Chen Lu had the business meetings with Former President, Vice President and the university management teams while reaching consensus on the multi-channel cooperation continually between the two sides. They also conducted an annual review of the cooperation projects ongoing and pushed the working progress on the upcoming program of “China-Tunisia Cultural Exchange Ambassador”.

The program of “China-Tunisia Cultural Exchange Ambassador” is to take the cultural exchange of young talents along the “Belt and Road Initiative” countries as its core topics, conducts cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, promotes cultural inheritance and innovation, and comprehensively improves the comprehensive quality of Chinese and Tunisian students in terms of “Global Thinking and Leadership Training”. The project is supported by the Municipality of Monastir of Tunisia, hosted by Monastir University as well as undertaken by SNAEIA. Since its initiation in 2018, the project has been successfully conducted on multiple occasions, having organized over 300 students and teachers participated from more than 30 universities and colleges.

During the visit in The Office of Vocational Training and Employment Promotion of the Kingdom of Morocco (OFPPT), Ms. Chen Lu and the delegation were warmly received by the Director General, Lubna Tricha and related directors. Firstly, Chen Lu expressed her gratitude for all the arrangements made by OFPPT at the meeting, conducted in-depth communication and exchanges with Lubna Tricha regarding the management process and optimization of ongoing cooperative projects, including the working plan and implementation for 2025.

Accompanied by Mr. Benhilal Abdelilah, Chairman of the Moroccan Federation of Private Vocational Education, Ms. Chen Lu and the delegation have well done the investigations at two secondary schools and four vocational institutions located in Casablanca, Rabat, and Marrakech. They engaged in pragmatic discussions regarding the models of Sino-Moroccan vocational education cooperation and training projects. After the investigation, witnessed by chairman, Abdelilah and Directors and Heads of the relevant vocational institutions, Ms. Chen Lu, on behalf of SNAEIA, signed the MOU with a representative of the Union of Free Education and Training in Morocco.
