I. Purpose of Event
To promote and expand vocational & skill cooperation, with the supports and sponsorship of related associations, the 1st Sino-North Africa Vocational Education Digital Innovation Skills Competition will be held from October 8th -12th in Tunisia or Morocco. The event and activities organized by Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association, abbreviated as SNAEIA
The highlights of the 1st Sino-North Africa Vocational Education Digital Innovation Skills Competition is the meeting place for 2 activities which include skill competition and Sino-North Africa cooperation conference. The skill competition mainly focus on the exchange and communications of the students and faculties between member country's vocational colleges, and the conference focused on the topics of the cooperation opportunities between vocational colleges in member countries.
II. Name & Brief Intro of the Competition
1. Additive Manufacturing
To complete inverse modeling based on a given product so as to get the point cloud data of an object shape using a handheld 3D scanner, as well as the defect repair and 3D digital inspection using the two-point cloud data. On the other hand, the competitors are required to design a product according to a given scenario, print all the parts making up the product through the metal printer, FDM printer, and light-curing 3D printer, and finally physically assemble all the printed items. The competitors will complete seven module competition tasks including reverse modeling; defect repair; 3D digital inspection; scheme design; product internal motion mechanism design; product appearance design; product 3D printing and post-processing.
2. Drone Operating
Drone Operating Competition is based on the competition platform built by the UAV student examination platform. The machine assembly and debugging system, the UAV maintenance and damage determination system and the UAV fine inspection software system are composed of parts. The competitors need to pass the computer, the UAV power test bench, the multi-rotor UAV assembly and debugging training system, and the unmanned aerial vehicle. The man-machine maintenance and damage assessment system, the UAV refined inspection software, the reconnaissance UAV and the emergency rescue UAV completed the offline operation assessment. The offline competition of the Drone Operating is a single-competitor competition. Drone Operating skills include several aspects: theoretical and professional ability assessment, UAV virtual simulation flight control, UAV system selection, UAV installation and maintenance, UAV refined inspection and UAV reconnaissance with the rescue.
3. Augmented and Virtual Reality
The offline competition of augmented and virtual reality events is composed of the application of virtual simulation development engine, 3D modeling software and 3D rendering software. Competitors need to complete the offline task assessment by computer. The offline competition of augmented and virtual reality is a team skills competition, participated by two competitors from each team respectively. The skills of augmented and virtual reality include four aspects: The virtual module design and production, the virtual module rendering and production, the development of cognitive functions of virtual products, and the development of operational functions of virtual products.
4. Industrial Design Technology
Establish a future-oriented product design concept, through hand-drawn design concept sketches to a systematic product design structure. Use computer-aided design platform software for industrial product design, 2D and 3D modeling. Finally, the shape, structure, material and color of the product and the final rendering are displayed in detail on the computer through the sketch.Through 3D printing, CNC programming and product processing, assembly verification. Verify the design product through the future network and obtain product traceability.
5. Cross-border E-commerce Skills and Data Analysis
Participating teams need to carry out cross-border e-commerce B2B and B2C simulation operations, and undertake store infrastructure, product release management, customer management, store marketing, transaction management, and performance services as competition content. Comprehensively inspect the practical operation skills and operation and promotion capabilities of cross-border e-commerce.
