Offical Visit By SNAEIA to Morocco to Promote Education Exchange and Cooperation between the Two Countries

From May 12th to 16th, at the invitation of the Moroccan partners, the Secretary-General Chen Lu and Deputy Secretary-General Zhao Yuling of Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association visited Morocco for a friendly visit. During this period, the delegation was invited to visit the The Office of Vocational Training and Employment Promotion of the Kingdom of Morocco. (OFPPT) and explore education-related exchanges and cooperation by visiting several higher education institutions and vocational schools.

On May 12th, the delegation from Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association visited Casablanca High School. The principal and teachers of Casablanca High School expressed that China's achievements in the field of education are worth learning from, and they conveyed the strong desire of their students to pursue further studies at Chinese universities in the future.

Following that, the association delegation visited Hassan II University of Casablanca in Morocco. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on existing association cooperation projects and future sustainable development projects, laying a solid foundation for the next steps of collaboration. During the visit, the association delegation toured the university and attended an innovation design competition in the fields of physics and food engineering. They highly praised the innovative inventions designed by students, including charging devices, decaffeinated coffee, sugar-free jam, and more.

On May 13th, the association delegation had discussions with the leadership of the ESTEP Education Group regarding the 2+2 program of Shenyang University's overseas branch. They delved into academic exchanges, collaborative education, joint research, and other aspects of cooperation.

On May 15th, the delegation from Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association traveled to the Moroccan capital, Rabat, to visit the EMBASSY OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA IN THE KINGDOM OF MOROCCO. They had a cordial and friendly exchange with the Ambassador Li Changlin. Ambassador Li expressed that education and training are important areas for future cooperation between China and Morocco. He mentioned a saying of Prophet Muhammad: "Seek knowledge even if it is in China," emphasizing the historical ties and the friendly relationship between Morocco and China. The delegation expressed deep appreciation for these sentiments, noting the strong desire of every Moroccan to visit China.

Meeting with Ambassador Li Changlin of the EMBASSY OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA IN THE KINGDOM OF MOROCCO

On May 16th, the association delegation visited OFPPT in Morocco. Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association has established a strategic cooperation with OFPPT and confirmed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for friendly cooperation. The future collaboration between China and Morocco in the field of vocational education will be facilitated through the platform of Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association.

Visit to the The Office of Vocational Training and Employment Promotion of the Kingdom of Morocco

Subsequently, the association delegation visited the largest college of Hassan II—Casablanca El Jadida Law and Economics School, and engaged in a discussion. The school possesses abundant academic resources and strong educational capabilities, with a student population of 35,000. During the meeting, both parties extensively explored comprehensive and multi-level cooperation projects that can be carried out with Chinese universities. The school expressed a strong desire to collaborate with Chinese universities on joint research projects and dual-degree programs at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels.
