Supported by the education authorities of China, Algeria, Burkina Faso Egypt, Côte d'Ivoire, Morocco, Tunisia and other countries, the Sino-North Africa Education Innovation Association (SNAEIA) is an international education cooperation and service platform co-initiated by domestic and foreign institutions of higher education, senior experts and scholars in relevant professional fields, intellectual resources, and Chinese-funded enterprises pursuing the "Going Global" strategy. It is dedicated to serve national education opening-up as well as international educational exchanges and cooperation.
In alignment with its Charter, SNAEIA combines the resource strengths of domestic and international partner institutions and enterprises, while upholding the principle of "Voluntary Participation, Equality, Openness, Sharing, Win-Win Cooperation and Innovative Development". The Association has always been committed to build a high-level platform for educational exchanges and cooperation between China and African countries. It has carefully designed and effectively promoted a series of influential brand projects, facilitating the implementation of the "School-Enterprise Cooperation & Vocational Education Internationalization" initiative and the Future Africa Plan. Meanwhile, it helps domestic and foreign universities to enhance their internationalized school-running capacity, supports the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative, promotes China-Africa people-to-people exchanges, and advances the joint building of a China-Africa Community with a Shared Future.
Up to now, SNAEIA has established long-term and stable cooperative partnerships with UNESCO, the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), the China-Africa Innovation Cooperation Center, and government authorities including the Ministry of Vocational Training and Education of Algeria, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Egypt, the Ministry of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training of Burkina Faso, the Ministry of Technical Education, Vocational Training and Apprenticeship of Côte d'Ivoire, the Office of Vocational Training and Employment Promotion (OFPPT) of the Kingdom of Morocco, and the National Tourism Office of Tunisia. It has also built partnerships with more than 100 universities and research institutions both in China and abroad.
Since its establishment, SNAEIA has collaborated with domestic and international partners to build a sustainable framework for educational exchange and cooperation, responding proactively to the trend of globalization, digitalization and internationalization. In Alignment with the regional development strategies and development priorities of partner countries, and in response to the increasing demand of Chinese-funded enterprises for local professionals proficient in Chinese and high-skilled talents, SNAEIA has committed to build a high-level platform for international cooperation in vocational education. Guided by the principle of mutual benefit and win-win results, SNAEIA has co-developed high-standard, high-quality, high-level and internationalized brand projects with partner institutions. It has facilitated the output of a large number of internationally recognized curriculum standards, courses standards and teaching resources, enhanced the mutual growth of Chinese and African universities along with overseas Chinese enterprises, and has positively impacted talent training for Africa.
SNAEIA will continue to collaborate with all partners, focus on China-Africa innovation cooperation and development, expand new areas of cooperation, elevate cooperation to a new level, and endeavor to make new contributions in the future.
